Fender MTG Tube Tremolo Pedal – The name Fender is synonymous with real tube tone. The MTG Tube Tremolo brings the hypnotic sound typically found in vintage amps and conveniently places it into a stomp box based around a genuine, U.S. made NOS 6205 preamp tube. The pedal features Level, Intensity, and Speed controls, three oscillator wave shapes, and a dedicated tap tempo foot switch which allows access to various note subdivisions. Designed by Fender’s in-house team of experts, the MTG Tube Tremolo is an all-original Fender circuit. The chassis is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the amp jewel LED gives your pedal board an unmistakably Fender look. The switchable LED back-lit knobs ensure you can adjust your control settings on a dark stage.
More waveforms than meet the eye
With the Wave knob set in the middle, you get a basic waveform in each mode — a smooth sine wave, a cyclical triangle wave, or a rigid square wave. Tweaking the Wave knob either way morphs the basic waveshape toward a different extreme. The simple way to sort this out is simply to listen and leave it where you love it. No matter what waveshape you land on, you can always use the tap tempo footswitch to quickly sync the effect to your music.
Real Tube
The heart of the MTG Tube Tremolo is a genuine vacuum tube – in this case a NOS (New Old Stock) 6205 preamp tube.
Wave controls
Offers three oscillator wave shapes to morph your sound: a smooth sine wave, a cyclical triangle wave, or a rigid square wave.
Tap Tempo
The dedicated tap foot switch allows you to time the repeats to your music and ensure everything stays synced up with the band.
Speed Controls
The Speed toggle switch activates rhythmic subdivisions—including standard, dotted and triplet rhythms—giving you some of the most popular delay times ever.
9V Power
The MTG uses a typical 9V center-negative power supply, making it easy to integrate into any rig. Internally, a switch-mode power supply converts the incoming 9 volts to 55 volts and applies that higher voltage to the vacuum tube’s plate—just like an amplifier.
